The Coach
CMgr MCMI — Henley Business School
For thirty years, I built my career across sales, marketing, and business consulting — leading teams, running campaigns, and helping organisations sharpen their strategy.
Somewhere along the way, I noticed a pattern that consultancy alone could never quite fix: the businesses that struggled weren’t short on strategy. They were short on people who felt equipped, in mind as much as in method, to carry it out.
That realisation — that professional change rarely succeeds without personal change alongside it — is what led me from consulting into coaching.
I work with capable, ambitious people who have hit a genuine sticking point — in their career, their leadership, or their life more broadly. Not those who believe themselves the finished article, but those honest enough to know there’s a next chapter worth working towards.
Every engagement begins with a short, complimentary conversation. Its purpose is mutual: to understand what you need, and to be honest about whether I’m the right person to help. I would rather decline a fit than take a fee.
My approach is underpinned by a Chartered Manager qualification, achieved with distinction at Henley Business School, alongside a varied professional background spanning pharmaceutical sales, financial planning, and personal training — a combination that is rather useful for working with the whole person, not just the executive.
Away from work, I am a competitive club-level tennis player — a former rugby player who has traded one discipline for another, but never the appetite for it.
If you recognise yourself in this — capable, driven, but at a sticking point — I’d welcome a conversation.
