Our Approach

Confidentiality sits at the centre of how Bijli Consulting Limited works. We collect only what is necessary to provide a considered, professional coaching relationship. We handle personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

ii.

What We Collect

  • Contact details — name, email address, and telephone number.
  • Billing information — bank transfer records for payment reconciliation.
  • Session content — notes from coaching conversations, recorded by hand or digitally.
  • Scheduling information — appointment times and booking details.

iii.

Session Notes

Notes are for our use alone and are never shared with a third party without your express written consent, save where required by law or to prevent serious harm. Digital notes are kept in password-protected systems accessible only to the Company.

iv.

How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and manage the coaching relationship
  • To schedule and confirm sessions
  • To process payment by bank transfer
  • To comply with legal and accounting obligations

We do not use your data for marketing and we do not sell or rent personal data to any third party.

v.

Who We Share It With

We use a small number of trusted service providers for scheduling and email correspondence, bound by their own data protection obligations. We do not permit any third party to access session content or notes.

We will never request, publish, or share a public review, rating, or testimonial naming you, under any circumstance.

vi.

Storage & Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary — typically for the duration of the coaching relationship and a reasonable period afterward to meet legal and accounting obligations. Data no longer needed is securely deleted or destroyed.

vii.

Your Rights

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to legal obligations
  • Object to or restrict certain processing

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

viii.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.

ix.

Cookies

Our website uses only essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
